My daughter was selected as a finalist for the United States Senate Youth Program. The finalists have to participate in an interview and a public affairs exam. Mrs. Wilson volunteered a Sunday afternoon to prepare my daughter for the process and exam. She wasn't asked but just did it to help one of her students be prepared for success. In addition, to this example, Mrs. Wilson serves as the Student Council sponsor and organizes many different student events and opportunities for student service. She is all in at Central High school. Mrs. Wilson is a difference maker in her classroom, school, and our district. Her actions are an example to all teachers that their impact with students reaches far beyond the classroom. The profession has a shining star in Mrs. Wilson.
