Sergeant Major Keith Allen is a true Hidden Hero whose dedication extends far beyond the classroom. Through his work as a Marine Corps Junior ROTC instructor at Colquitt County High School, he teaches students leadership, discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and the importance of service to others.
His impact is also evident in his commitment to preserving military history and honoring the veterans and community members who came before us. Through the CCHS Junior ROTC Military History & Preservation Project, Sergeant Major Allen is helping students connect with the stories, uniforms, photographs, and artifacts that represent the sacrifices and service of generations of Americans.
His work demonstrates that education is about more than academics. It is about building character, developing responsible citizens, preserving history, and giving young people the opportunity to understand the meaning of service.
Sergeant Major Allen is a Hidden Hero because he quietly makes a lasting difference in the lives of students and in the history of our community.
